Today we went on a city tour! We started at the Mira Flores locks. It was awesome getting to see the amazing engineering of the locks and the canal. It is crazy how large the ships are that go through with less than a foot to spare on each side of the locks. Next we went to the cause way which is along narrow strip of land that leads to an island. The cause way was all built with dirt from the canal! Last we traveled to panamas first city. It was great seeing all the old buildings and imagining pirates attacking the city. They are doing tons of work restoring all the old buildings, when it is finished it will be amazing.I wasn't able to get very many pictures of the Casco Viejo because my camera died but we plan on going back, so no biggie.:)
